Kingman Spyder MR4 Military Sims Semi-Auto Paintball Marker Review

The MR4 Spyder from Kingman is a scenario style paintball gun equipped with a variety of features such as a shoulder stock, multiple picatinny rails, and a magazine style fore grip. The thing that makes this milsim paintball gun so special, though, is the patent pending EKO valve that?s inside of it. This revolutionary valve design gives the MR4 ~1800 shots off a 20oz CO2 tank.

This marker is often chosen as someone’s first paintball gun. It comes with an intermediate set-up, which allows the player to experience some of the features of more expensive paintball markers. For example, the marker comes stock with drop forward and the x-chamber. There is also a low pressure chamber so, you get a lot of value without having to buy aftermarket parts. Also, the long ported barrel is fairly accurate for a paintball marker in this price range.

If you play scenario ball or woodsball at all, eventually you may prefer a paintball marker that has a little bit more realistic gun look than many of the markers available. The Kingman Spyder MR4 is an excellent choice for your first military style, electronic paintball marker. Spyders are known for their reliability and ease of use and maintenance. The MR4 is no exception, and combined with its hot looks it is a very fun marker to use for any type of scenario play. While for some the MR4 is a bit bulky for speedball, others have used it with great success.

Pros:
Overall the Spyder MR4 is an excellent choice of marker for woodsball and scenario ball. The sturdy construction holds up over time to the abuse that you will put your marker through on the field. Test out your marker before heading out to the field, however, to make sure you have the proper detent installed. If not, its a simple enough upgrade. For the cost, the Spyder MR2 is an excellent value.

Cons:
It is very loud.

Value for money?
This is a great beginners paintball gun. It’s very light and shoots farely well for it’s price. I do suggest this gun for beginners. I suggest getting a better barrel. But for people who just want to play paintball this is a great gun.

This is a very good marker. The trigger is very smooth. The stock barrel that comes with it is decent for only being 10 inches long. With it’s speed and accuracy, it is deadly in any woods game.I strongly recommend this marker to any serious woods baller out there. Out of the box the MR4 shoots perfect.

Price Range: $129.99 – $189.95
